Oven Baked Potato Patties
- Prepping Time: 5 mins
- Cooking Time: 40 mins
- Serves: 6
Ingredients
- 4 Potatoes, peeled
- 1 Onion, peeled
- 3 tbsp Maida
- 2 Green chillies, finely chopped
- 1 tbsp. Garlic, finely chopped
- ½ tsp Red chilli powder
- 1 tsp Chaat masala
- 2 tbsp Coriander, finely chopped
- 1 tsp Salt
- ½ tsp Black pepper
- Oil for greasing
Method
- Preheat Oven on 200°C on toast setting.
- Grate the potatoes in the processing jar of your Morphy Richards Icon Deluxe Food processor using the special grating blade.
- Peel and slice the onion.
- In a large mixing bowl, combine the grated potatoes, onions, green chilli, red chilli powder, salt, black pepper, chaat masala, coriander and flour. Mix well.
- Line baking sheet with parchment paper. Using your hands, rub the surface with the olive oil.
- Use the same oiled hands to divide the mixture into 10 even portions and shape into patties. Place on the oiled parchment paper.
- Bake until crispy and golden on one side (about 20 minutes). The cakes should come off the parchment easily. Flip and bake 20 minutes until they are a deep golden brown on the other side as well.
- Serve warm.
