  • Prepping Time: 5 mins
  • Cooking Time: 5 mins
  • Level of Cooking: Easy
  • Taste: Salty and Cheesy
  • Serves: 2

Ingredients

  • White bread slices – 6
  • Green chutney – 2 tbsp
  • Lettuce leaves – 4
  • Cheese slices – 4
  • Paneer slices – 4-6
  • Pepper, crushed – 1 tbsp
  • Mayonnaise, eggless – 1 tbsp
  • Carrot, grated – 1
  • Salt – As per requirement

Method

Step 1: Cut the sides of the white breads.

Step 2: Take one bread slice and apply green chutney. To make the green chutney at home, blend green chillies, cumin, coriander leaves, lemon and mint leaves to a smooth paste in a Mixer Grinder. You can use Primo Classique 750W Mixer Grinder for a smooth blending experience or visit our official online store for more options.

Step 3: Layer it with lettuce leaves for the green layer. Alternatively, you can also use sliced cucumber for the green layer. Top it up with a cheese slice and crushed black pepper.

Step 4: Place another slice of white bread above the green layer to get the white layer. Now, spread mayonnaise sauce and place paneer slices on the second layer.  Top it up with a cheese slice and crushed black pepper.

Step 5: Place another slice of white bread above the white layer to get the green layer. Spread grated carrot forming the orange layer. Season it with salt and crushed black pepper.

Step 6: Place the last bread slice over the orange layer and press gently. Alternatively, you can also grill these sandwiches in Morphy Richards New Toast and Grill Sandwich Maker.

Step 7: Cut the sandwiches into half, forming triangles and serve with tomato ketchup.

Notes/Tips:

You can also apply tomato chutney to get saffron colour.
