Baked Dahi Kali Mirch Chicken

Cooking Time: 45 minutes
Ingredients
- ½ cup hung Yogurt
- 2 tbsp Ginger garlic paste
- 1 tbsp Coriander seeds, coarsely ground
- 2 tbsp Oil
- 3 dried Red chilies
- 2 Green chilies, minced
- 1 tbsp Black pepper, freshly ground
- 300gms Chicken breast, boneless, sliced into 2 inch pieces
- 300gms Chicken leg, boneless, sliced into 2 inch pieces
- 1 tbsp Salt
- ½ cup Coriander leaves, chopped
Method
- In a large bowl, combine the hung yogurt, ginger garlic paste, ground coriander and mix till combined.
- Heat oil in a pan.
- Add the dry red chilies, green chilies, and black pepper.
- Sauté till fragrant for about 15 seconds.
- Transfer into the bowl of spiced hung yogurt.
- Add the chicken pieces and mix well to coat the meat with the marinade.
- Set aside to marinate for atleast 2 hours or overnight.
- Preheat the Morphy Richards OTG to 200oCelsius for 10 minutes.
- Place the marinated chicken on the baking tray.
- Place the tray in the oven and bake for 15 minutes.
- Then, increase the temperature to 250oCelsius and bake for 25 minutes or until the chicken is light golden on the surface.
- Garnish with coriander and serve hot with salad and tandoori naan or roti.
